There are some issues I really can never understand about fashion and style… This is one of them… In a casual day, I wear jeans… Shirt or t-shirt with some cardigan or jacket… If I’m not gonna walk around all day or it’s not a terrible stormy day, I prefer heels or wedges… I go out and it’s just a casual outfit… Looks nothing more…

But some people wear just the same even with flats… And they look amazing… How can this ever be happening? What is this? Why should I wear trousers with wonderful silk blouses or skirts, dresses? I wanna look good in jeans too…

I think it’s a matter of comfort. When you’re comfortable (comfortable clothes and being comfortable being in public looking like that), you’re probably more likely to be confident, and when you’re confident, it shows. But I could be wrong.

I agree with Catherinee. When you’re confident in your clothes, it makes an entire outfit look better. But also maybe these people’s clothes are very well-fitted? Clothes that fit properly always make an outfit look more polished.

personality+confidence = casual cool.also helps if you’re extremely good looking and could wear a sack and still look amazing.

confidence in your style is key.must say mine is lacking and kind of all over the place, but one day it’ll all fall into place

Well, you may be right… Besides, I also agree with the well-fitted and good-looking thing!  How will we get over the confident? Any tips?

Don’t worry about the mean things people might say to you.

Definitely a confidence thing. I usually dress corporate for work, but when I’m just running errands flats, jeans and a t-shirt is fine. I feel awesome in my baggy t-shirt and basketball shorts when I’m involved in sports or running. I’m comfortable in them, and to hell with what others think.

I think there’s a few things that can make this look work. Well fitting jeans that look comfortable are one thing, or the person can be wearing a nice top that sets off the outfit, their confidence is another thing, and accessorizing. We all know that accessories can jazz up an otherwise plain outfit.

I don’t think it is just confidence.. I think it lies in the body shape and appearance.. It is just some people look good in certain things, and others look good in everything. That’s why there are supermodels. If it were that easy to look good in just jeans and tee.. the model industry would bomb.

I personally think girls who are tall, long and lean, and have a boy cut shape look the best in most things. That includes jeans and tees. That is why we can’t all copy kate moss’s casual chic look and look as cool as her. Even if we had all the confidence in the world.
