I like buying things I really love, getting attached and wearing them until they can’t be repaired any more. I have a pair of tan leather boots that I adore and used to be super comfortable, but they’re so ripped up inside that I now display them as “art” in the house because I can’t get rid of them. At the moment, my favourite floral silk tea dress is fraying at the seams. I need to sew up the holes.
