When I went to Catholic school, we couldn’t have back pockets in any of our pants!posted over 6 years ago
I remember at my second highschool my best friend came in with a pale lilac, thin and to be honest pretty subtle headband. Except there is no lilac or purple of any kind in the school colours so the biology teacher gave her detention! Not even a hairbobble could be the wrong colour. Accepted colours: grey, maroon and navy.posted over 6 years ago
Pretty basic rules for us, but still :|
- Shirts must be covering the entire shoulder and the torso.
- No leggings, ripped jeans and shorts.
- Tights must be opaque
I think that’s it.
My old school (In Florida):
-Collared polo style shirts in any solid color. ONLY.
-At least one shirt in black that should be worn on field trips.
-Maximum of 4 buttons
-Any style pants, capris, and knee length shorts or skorts in any solid color.
-Plain solid color jeans are allowed (no designs, no lettering, and no fading).
-Any solid color, full size, sweater. Hooded or zippered solid color sweat shirts are allowed. (Only the school logo is allowed. No designs or prints.)
And I got these all from the school website. xPposted over 6 years ago
I don’t think my school’s rules are necessarily crazy, but the enforcement of some is ludicrous.
Example: flip flops. If a teacher reports it, the student cannot go to any class after and must wait until someone brings another pair of shoes. If no one does, they waste their entire day in the office.
Also: cell phones. I’ve seen teachers literally chase students to obtain their cell phones… and then the same teachers walk around texting.
We’re undergoing renovations, so we have a new cafeteria this year (though we don’t have a kitchen yet… hmmm). We have to go out into the hallway to get to the part where they sell food, you can’t just walk through the “wrong way.”posted over 6 years ago
In high school, we weren’t allowed to sit on the floor even though there weren’t enough chairs/seats to sit in at the cafeteria during lunch. Just set us up for failure why don’t you
