I have this problem too!
I dont have a tripod so I have to find like the perfect spot to set my camera…
but if i asked my family to take a pic of me I would feel awkward!
Im kind of nervous to post pictures of what I wear too just because I dunno
Being an art student is nice because I have a couple photographer friends at hand. I usually get them to take my picture, and they get to use them for their art as well. If they’re not around I usually get my boyfriend.posted over 5 years ago
@sooshi – you’re dating someone who hates taking pictures of you?
self-timer. there’s no one here but little ol’ me.
i use a self timer, although i don’t have a tripod.. instead i balance my camera on this cd rack cabinet that i have. kinda awkward.. although it works!posted over 5 years ago
usually i use my mini tripod (wanna be joby) but my pictures come out best when i have a real person take them. so i enslave my little sister (muahaha evil laugh) and make her take them.
you just have to find the right person to do it!
sometimes i stand on my toilet and take “full length” pictures of myself, but then i wind up looking cross eyed in the picture because i’m looking at the back of my camera while i’m taking it. so i’d go with a self timer on a stack of books or a desk or something.posted over 5 years ago
Tripod with timer [I still need a remote] or indeedy, the friend/boyfriend/sister/convenient person.
Usually boyfriend, because he somewhat knows how my camera works.
hmm for now i’ve used my computer’s photobooth, but it’s incredibly crappy so i think i’ll just do self-timer.posted over 5 years ago
Self-timer and tripod. It’s really the best way if others can’t take adequate pictures of you or you’re uncomfortable posing in front of them.posted over 4 years ago
