I feel like my pictures look super muted and low quality in my chicblog. I know that the uploader on the site has to compress the file size, but I feel as though others pictures have better quality than mine. I’m probably just nitpicking, but what are your tips to make the uploaded pictures look better when uploaded onto the site? Do you save them as JPG, PNG? Do you add extra brightness or contrast to the image before upload? Thanks!

photo quality is probably based more on what kind of camera you have than what uploading does to the photo
but try saving the file or taking the photo at the largest file size possible?
i use jpg if that helps-
Thanks for the tip! My photos are quite high quality on iPhoto and I export them at the highest quality setting into Photoshop however I was resizing them to somewhere in the 600 pixel range… so Ill try uploading them at their original size.
