I think it’s interesting when people use the excuse that the reason why they don’t dress up, or nicely, is because of the comfort level. I personally, from experience, know that you can buy all kinds of fun, eye pleasing outfits that still maintain the high levels of comfort that say, sweats would have. and since I didn’t intend to name this post “comfiest thing to wear in the world” ... What happens to be the most comfortable outfit you own?
posted over 3 years agofor the sake of not caring what others see me in when I’m at home:
Oversize t-shirt, capris, and my Croc slippers (idc what others say, the slipper ones with the fur on the inside are AMAZING!)
trying to be comfortable in public:
Fitted LONG t-shirt, dark cotton leggings (should reach around the calve/ankle), and sneakers
I refuse to wear anything that makes me too uncomfortable. And, amazingly, I don’t always look like a slob! I agree it’s easy to be chic and comfy at the same time.
Certainly sweatshirts, sweatpants, and pajamas are comfy but so are leggings, sweater and sweater dresses in soft materials (not wool, though, because it irritates my skin), thermal shirts on a cold day, tank tops on a hot day, cotton and jersey-knit dresses, flat-heeled boots, moccasins, and sneakers.
I like jeans, but I actually don’t think they’re that comfy. I went through an anti-jeans phase in early high school.

posted about 1 year agoright now, some seriously comfy but tight skinny jeans and my aunt’s red vintage gucci sweater. with a nice pair of shoes at least :]
posted about 1 year agoIf that’s why people don’t want to dress up then that’s fine.. I don’t see a problem with that. I don’t care how other people dress. It’s their choice.
If I’m just home, I’m usually in sweats or leggings and a tshirt.. and if I just have to run to the store I just stay in that lol
posted about 1 year agoMy style lately has been skinny jeans or leggings with oversized tees and tunics. All of these items are comfy but if im at home lounging on the couch i def wanna be in my leggings over my jeans.
I’ll run to the store in my leggings easily as i wear them everyday anyways but i wont leave the house in my pyjamas..it takes to seconds to switch into something else..i saw a lady at the video store yesterday in her bright pink pyjama pants, bulky husbands sweater, and greasy hair. she just looked so run down. I dont wanna look like that in public..even if im just going to rent a movie.
My jersey tunic with leggings/tights and low-heeled buckle boots make for the most comfortable outfit I can think of at the moment.
posted about 1 year agoMy most comfortable outfit is a pair of leggings, a long tank or t-shirt and either strappy sandals or ballet flats

posted about 1 year agoleggings or tights under a high waist cotton skirt
and like just a comfy t-shirt and flats and maybe a cardigan depending if it’s cold or not
i used to think that dresses were uncomfortable, but i’ve realized they aren’t, i was just super worried about doing something embarassing in one, like bending over and accidentally showing my underwear. Most fashion is created with comfort in mind. I also used to think skinny jeans were constricting, but they really aren’t. My favorite look: wedges, skinny jeans, tank top and a cardigan.
