They can earn through clothing brands; what they do is they ask the bloggers to put an ad on their site, and they get freebies every now and then (this is dependent on the web traffic, which bloggers submit to the company). Then they make an outfit post per freebie. They start to earn when visitors click on the ads/clothing brands, apply/join the site and buy something. It will be monitored by the website which blogger redirected this visitor to their website. Then the bloggers earn like 20% commission or less.
Yeah, mostly ads. Like some companies pay these bloggers monthly just to have their ads on the blogger’s site (because of the web traffic). Sometimes, they also get paid to write about certain stuff or feature certain products. So mostly sponsorship and advertisements.
Those are the only things I’m aware of.posted over 1 year ago
Google Affiliate Network and rstyle.me are other websites that allow you to make money off ads. You can earn between 8% commission and up on GAN versus about 1-2% sometimes on rstyle on conversion (purchases).
I’ve made about 300+ dollars in about 9 months just posting things I love and linking it to the goods (I don’t have many followers either). Lots of companies have affiliate programs for bloggers to make money.
I still don’t know how some bloggers get expensive stuff either. My guess is side jobs / parents / actually having a decent paying job.
I have read bloggers can make a decent living off writing and advertising, more so if they do videos on youtube etc. I would like to ask some of them how they are able to afford a $1400-2000 dollar handbag when they wear a $20 top from Zara or HM though. It boggles my brain.posted over 1 year ago
