Edinburgh is where I woulda gone if I’d has my way ;) it’s such a beautiful city. I’ve also known people who had their wedding at a fancy country estate in France. How amazing would that be and so romantic!posted over 3 years ago
I always liked the idea of a wedding at an italian villa or at a french garden or vineyard.
the Caribbean would be pretty too!

Just wondering, but are there destination weddings that takes place in like mountain areas? I’m not huge fan of beaches, I’m a more mountain, meadows, type of girl.posted about 3 years ago
@LittleBEE – of course oh my a winter wedding at a ski resort would be outstanding and fun.
lots of weddings now a days are done in pastures and barns and guests can sty at a quaint bed and breakfast. I can;t think of any places specifically but if thats what you want of course you can.posted almost 3 years ago
I find destination weddings a bit pretentious.
You’re pretty much forcing your guests to travel across seas (or to another country, at least) to see you get married. But, hey, to each their own.
I second Edinburgh. It’s simply gorgeous.posted almost 3 years ago
