I am pretty tall, so my shoe collection mostly consists of flats and sandals. I have some nice sandals (not Havianas or Rainbows!) – think more Steve Madden-esque. I was wondering if those are still inappropriate to wear to a wedding and I should stick to closed-toe flats. What do you think?
posted 8 months agoIt depends on what kind of wedding it is. If its a summer wedding or takes place outside or at the beach, I would say go for it! If it’s a more formal wedding or takes place in the Fall or Winter, or at night, then flats would be more appropriate.

I agree with catiebeatty :) Flats would be more appropriate for the cooler weather but if it’s warm or at the beach sandels are fine!
posted 6 months agoHow about trying sandals with those tiny kitten heels to make it seem a little dressy.

I think if it’s like an indoor traditional wedding you should stick to your flats. If it’s like an outdoor modern or contemporary wedding I say go for it. I think the weather would also play a big role

I totally agree with flats as footwear for your wedding. But it should be stylish and unique. Flats are good for both summers and winters. You should definitely go for it.
