How to get a new blog noticed?

I’ve been blogging for about a year and am hoping that commenting on other blogs a lot, using social media as much as possible, and throwing giveaways (enter my latest one here! will help me take my blog to that next level. it helps a lot when you post in forums like this one :) this is where I got a lot of readers from and they’re really kind :) they don’t just follow for followers, they comment on your posts as well and give great advice :) and yes, it helps when you comment on other bloggers’ pages and link your blog :) Anyway, if you decided to continue with your blog, drop by my page and leave me a message, I’ll be happy to check it out :)

Blog regularly, I hear that a lot and think it’s a great tip. If you keep your blog updated everyday, or every other day with interesting posts, people will see that your blog is thriving and will keep coming back, bringing new people with them.

I guess commenting on other blogs, plus being joined in fashion blogger groups on fb and etc.. :)

Hello, I have also noticed that it’s difficult to get followers at first.. It is hard to get noticed, but the best thing to do is comment on others blog and they will in return comment/follow yours!

Oh man, it takes so much work and time, but don’t give up! Enjoy the journey! One of the best ways to actively work towards getting your blog noticed is to join and post on sites like Chictopia. You should also join BlogLovin’ and Independant Fashion Blogger (aka IFB). Here’s a great article about the 5 Things Every Blog Should Have Pay special attention to #4! Tags are so important! One thing I always tag my posts with is “Fashion Blogger”. You can also tag your posts with “(Insert city you’re from) Fashion Blogger”. This will make it easier for people to see your blog when they search for things and it’s one way local companies have found my blog :)

Just keep going. You’ll get better as you blog more and then you’ll find that more people follow. Be patient, enjoy it and the followers will come!
