If you buy an ill fitting shoe, you can totally harm your feet with blisters, bunions, hammer toes,

calluses and foot pain.

However sure you are of your shoe size, there are certain instances where your size suddenly

changes. If you gain weight or lost some, you might have a change in shoe size as well. If you have

designer shoes
worn the same shoes for a while or have been walking barefoot for quite some time, then you might

want to know how to find your shoe size before you buy a new pair of shoes.

After all, knowing your current size will ensure that you have a proper fit.

With a good marker, trace around your bare foot carefully, swirling around the grooves and the toes,

to put your foot on the paper.
designer shoes Repeat this with your other foot. Once you’re done, measure the

length of the tracings at their longest point and then reduce this measurement by about a fifth of

an inch. This takes into account the width of the marker or the pencil that you used. NO matter how

careful you are at tracing, there will always be a small gap between your foot and the line you have

traced.

After doing this, measure two of the
designer shoes widest points of the tracings and then reduce another fifth of

an inch to give allowances. Once you get your measurement, look up your size in the shoe size

conversion charts.

There is nothing quite as important as having the right shoes to complement and complete the most

dazzling outfit. Of course, you have to grab a pair that fits your feet perfectly.

If you want the easy, breezy way to know your shoe size, here is a step by step process that can

help you determine your shoe size quickly. First, you have to tape a large sheet of paper on the

floor. Make sure you tape it quite good so
designer shoes that you won’t slip when you step on it. Slipping can

cause accidents so be extra careful. Now that you have your blank paper taped, place your bare foot

on the center of the paper.

These are accessible on the internet and most shoe stores have it. This translates inches into the

proper shoe size to make it easier for you to find the right pair of shoes for every outfit of every

day or night.

But my Jimmy Choos looked old and tatty, as though I’d been wearing them for weeks, not one day.

And the soles needed replacing.
When I took them to my local cobbler and handed over ?20 for new soles, he astonished me by telling

me that I should have brought them to be re-soled before wearing them.
‘I see lots of expensive shoes like this and I always tell people they should have them re-soled as

soon as they take them out of the box,’
designer shoes

he said. ‘Otherwise, it’s like going out in the rain without a coat.’

To make matters worse, the cobbler put plain ugly soles on that don’t go with the elegant design of

the shoe.
So the sandals that
designer shoes I have now

simply aren’t the same ones I fell for in the store, where the shop assistant didn’t say anything

about them needing re-soling before wearing or being unsuitable for outdoors.
Nor is there any such warning in the care booklet, although it does tell you to avoid ‘rain and

direct contact with heat, oil, grease,

alcohol and other abrasive products’.
I complained about my Jimmy Choo experience to friends and, to my surprise, two said they had

suffered exactly the same problem.
