I’m not such a fan of the socks+open toed heels, I think it looks better without the open toes.. But it would really depend on the specific shoe designs, so can’t really say..posted over 5 years ago
I don’t know. i think if they were mesh or sheer
or not too thick knitted socks than it could definitely work. Give it a try. Couldn’t hurt
I love socks with (closed-toe) heels! I think ivory and black pumps would look cute. :) Give it a try!posted over 5 years ago
would look great dont forget to take a pic and post it on chictopia for all of us to seeposted over 5 years ago
Can you upload a picture to your blog? It’s hard to say w/ out seeing it.
I love socks and open toed shoes (and socks w/ gladiators for that matter) in general but I think you have to watch it with whatever dress you’re wearing. I wouldn’t necessarily put that look w/ say, a babydoll dress unless you really want to emphasize a Lolita esthetic – ya know? Torn up denim shorts though – definitely!
Definitely though, upload a pic if you can.

I think socks and heels can be done very nicely. I’ve done it before on colder days.posted over 5 years ago
oh absolutely. I like them with both open and closed toed heels.
I think you just gotta watch out for the length of your socks. Because at a certain length, socks can “cut” (visually!) your legs and their shape and make your legs look bigger, shorter or “log-like”posted over 5 years ago
Itcan definetly work, but it depends on the shoe, not just the type of shoe. Like it cna look great with one platform shoe and look completely horrible with another one.posted over 5 years ago
Socks can work great with open toed heels, but it depends on the shoe. Definitely upload a picture!!
I love coloured socks with heels too, especially knee-highs!
