I recommend a coat in a semi water-proof fabric. It doesn’t snow often here in the South, so all I had was a wool peacoat… BAD IDEA. The slush ruined the fabric and I was pissed. So, yeah. Maybe a puffy jacket in an awesome neon color. Have fun!
posted almost 2 years agoFor VERY Cold Weather:
Boots and thick socks, leggings UNDERNEATH a pair of skinny jeans (if it’s superchilly!), and lots of layers on top, like a v neck, flannel, cardigan, casual blazer, and winter coat—-it’s a lot, but you can always take a layer off. One trick I use in the winter to add individuality is wearing two scarves at once(usually patterned+plain). just tie them like it’s one! Beanies look really chic and keep your head warm, and gloves are always a good idea in the cold.
One thing my friend from Norway showed me was letting your warm winter socks actually peek above your boots. I thought it looked cute :) Good luck, and stay nice and toasty!
