the topic title pretty much sums up my conundrum: I love boater hats, but I have the tiniest head and I have no idea how to keep one on my head. H&m has a lovely one I intend on buying, but not if I’m sure it’s going to gather dust on a shelf. I’d rather see other girls have fun with the hat, if that would be the case. So do any of you guys have tips on making a boater hat that is a tad too big fit? Or just stay on my head?

Attach a hair clip to the hat and pin the clip into your hair. Or get one of those hair comb things and attach it, except the combs don’t stay that well with very straight and smooth hair. I had a beret that I wanted to stay on before and first used a comb, but it couldn’t stay on my straight hair, but it stayed on my friends’ hairs who had wavy or curly hair. A plain hairclip or even bobby pin helps my beret stay up.
