help with color combination

It can be a nice complimentary color scheme, but it depends on the shade. It would help if we could see a picture.

Well on the color wheel the complimentary color of blue is orange. By rust you mean a brownish red? It could be okay depending… but you don’t want to go to literal with bright orange tights or anything! If you have a burnt/toned down orange color that would probably look pretty nice=) Good luck!

Thanks for your help. I decided that they go together and my latest post has the two combined although in the picture I think the tights might look more red than rust but in real life they are more of an orangey rust color. see what you think.
