… wear sweats?
I find wearing sweats taboo in the sense that I’d be blending in with all the other university girls. Plus, I know a lot of Chictopians are against them.
I also don’t own any sweats at all, are they really that comfortable? I’m tempted to buy a pair of sweat pants just to try them.
Find them disgusting? Telling me they’re amazing? Will/Do you wear them? When would you wear them? How would you wear them?

i do own tracksuit bottoms and they are comfy for lounging around the house
but i would never ever wear them out and about,
because it’s kind of like wearing your pijamas outside.
not my idea of chic…

i have a few pairs of sweats and i love them for days that i don’t feel good.
i got home from work last night and i put on sweats and a hoodie and i went to the grocery store … thats about the only place i would go in them though.

Honestly, I use my sweats to save money on my utility bill! :D The heating bill can get ridiculous during the winter, and sweats are a good, comfortable way to save money by reducing the need to have the heater on. I don’t want to layer on my nice clothes on days I’m just going to stay home. :P

I don’t like them and don’t wear them. I think jersey harem pants are a nicer option. It’s similar but they’re a bit more stylish when worn right.

to be worn on super super cold days and all you want to do is still home and watch tv:0)

its okay to wear them out if you really have a lazy day or its girly time. for me its the most comfortable on girly days.

I only wear them when sitting around my house – I find it incredibly uncomfortable to wear them with any type of shoes… meaning I can’t wear them out of the house. But they’re not always the comfiest option, in my opinion. The way the fleece or whatever it is rubs against my legs when they’re not shaved isn’t a pleasant feeling (I notice stuff like that haha).

I agree with Catherinee. I have a few pairs for cold days at home but I can’t wear them with shoes. My high school allows us to wear sweats on Fridays (we have a very strict dress code..) but I usually don’t do so. I think they’re just unflattering and I, personally am not comfortable with going out in public like that. It’s just an insecurity thing, I think. Instead, if I want to be really comfy, I get a tight yoga pant with boots and a long top. Then cardigans and scarves keep me warm. It’s pretty basic, but it’s comfy.

Most of all, I think they’re boring in the world of fashion. I want to make a statement, but not one that makes me come across as lazy. No offense to sweats lovers :D

i have two, but i usually only wear them for dance. i like to wear them to school when i’m really feeling the need to be comfy. i wouldn’t wear it on a daily basis or tucked into Uggs (ew).

sweat pants are pretty much the only type of pants i wear at home… just cos they’re so comfy, and no one is going to see me except for my family/bf. plus they are super cheap!
sometimes i wear them outside when i’m going grocery shopping/going to the local shopping centre, in the car when me& my bf are going on a long drive somewhere, or just going to a friends house for a couple of hours :P
but i don’t think i’d wear them anywhere else, i think leggings would be more stylish and just as comfy.

i wear them around the house. especially when its cold. they are comfy and warm and good for those lazy days. sometimes I even wear them grocery shopping …though I make sure that I wear a long coat or sweater and tall boots so nobody really notices them. And of course I pray that I don’t bump into anyone I know.

to me theyre not embarassing enough to say i would never dare leave the house in them. i go to walmart in them, to the gym, to exams ive been up all night studying for, to chill with the bf on movie night (which is like every night that football is not on lol). in high shool iwent thru a bum phase. i was invovled in everything so i had very little time for anything(the excuse) i wore like band and beta club sweats everywhere with tennies and flip flops plus i was an athlete so taking time to be pretty before walking in the boxing ring seemed like a no-no. i love sweats, im even wearing some now =]

i wear them at home.

if i want to be comfortable when i go out, i’ll wear just a knit dress or oversized tee with leggings. it’s just as comfortable and less like everyone else.

I wear baggy sweat pants around my house when I’m super cold. But other than that, I would only wear sweatpants or yoga pants to the library during finals week, when I’m camped out for 12 hours.

i love sweat pants, but i’m proud to say that i haven’t worn them to school at all since the semester started. i’m trying not to wear them to school at all this year because i’m trying to look “chic” everyday haha. of course, i wear them to dance class, and sometimes i wear them when i’m just running to walmart or going to pick something up at the mall real quick. and i live in them at home. i have this one pair that are so old and are starting to form a hole in the seem on the butt, but they’re so comfy. don’t worry, i only wear them for pajamas! never out of the house unless i’m going for food at the drive thru

I love them, I wear them around the house ALL the time when it’s colder, including now. I never wear them outside the house though, I’m not a big fan of that!

(Okay that’s a bit of a lie, I have about 2-3 times, when I was hung over and had to get home after staying over at my friend’s house after a night of partying and forgot a pair of jeans.)
