Converse?
Well, to me its kind of like a sign of youth…
with jeans – perfect
with skirts – great!
with dresses – some people find it awful but I looove it anyway..
Heels for sure, but for comfort a pair of boots or flats in a neutral colour of course.
posted over 3 years agoI’d say a black biker boot. It’s a style that stays on trend year after year and can be worn with so many different types of outfit. Plus they’re really comfortable and still look great when worn in and old.
posted over 3 years agoBLACK PUMPS are great, too.
But I’m always for converse because its comfort + style….
PLUS you can run if ever you need to.
posted over 3 years agoBlack flats, or a pair of black or brown boots with a low heel. (My favorite are riding boots, because they transition to full-on dressy better than chunkier biker styles). Both of these go with pants or skirts/dresses and can be casual or formal. Maybe it’s that I travel a lot, but I feel like flatter-heeled shoes are ultimately more usable than high heels because you can walk long distances in them without killing your knees.
I love converse, but they become decidedly less versatile once you graduate from college and enter the workforce. I certainly can’t wear them to work )-: but I can wear black ballet flats or a nice pair of boots no problem.
posted over 3 years agocomfy low heel or no heel black boots. i bought a thrifted pair that said 8 1/2 i wear a solid 9 1/2 and i made those babies fit lol, they’re my go to pair of shoes whenever i’m in doubt
posted over 3 years agoi agree with black flats. they really are perfect. also, my go-to shoe is a black patent mary jane pump. i love it for going out and it looks great with a dress or jeans, etc.

hands down. black flats. while boots and converse are fantastic for high school, once you’re out, you need something else. black flats can be casual, dressy, and in between :)
posted over 3 years agoBOOTS! cowboy boots, knee-high boots. you can wear them with worn out jeans, and wear them with a nice flowy dress with tights and a belt sinched at the waist also wear it with a cute flowy dress. Thats for the winter, in the summer flats go with basically EVERYTHING!
posted over 3 years agoFor versatility minus function, I say a classic pump. Red if you’re daring; it’s become so iconic.
posted over 3 years agoUggs! They’re so perfect with everything!
No, I’m kidding. I would say it depends on your wardrobe. The perfect pair of leather riding boots in caramel, chocolate, or black in the winter. And your dream flats in the summer.
posted over 3 years agoGet the knee-high boots, they look fantastic with anything. Just think as little detail as possible, weather you go for a pump, booties, oxfords og riding boots. Neutral colors always go.
posted over 3 years agoA classic brown/ black riding style or biker style with buckles I think is the most versatile type of footwear.
