What to wear with a denim shirt?

Denim shirts look good both ways.
1) Casual: Wear with basic colors at the bottom such as black (or any color of your choice) (as seen on vanessa) For an edgy look, you can opt for leather/textured bottoms. (as seen on wendy)
2) :As a jacket: Pair with a loose tank or dress. (as seen on miley
3)Layer : Wear a jacket over the denim shirt, such a plead jacket (as seen on Wendy) to layer.

there’s so much you can do with it!
girly look: lace pair of shorts and tie the front of the shirt and add some wedges
casual: buttoned with colored jeans, printed leggings and sandals or boots
or throw it over a dress for a new look

You could wear them with light pink pants and with the shirt a bit open. I think it would look really cute :)

if i were you i would pick a white shirt to match it

You can wear it both open or close. If you want to wear it closed, tuck in your denim shirt with a white pleated skirt. You can wear either flats or espadrilles with this look. If you want to wear it open, you can use it as outerwear for a body con dress. I’m thinking something floral or printed. To toughen the look you can try wearing them with DMs. And since its summer, you can also use them as cover up for your bikini, especially if its a little loose.

I think a nice plain black pencil skirt with a button down denim shirt looks great! very chic and laid back looking.

Double denim, so with a pair of denim shorts or pants. I love to do the farmer chic thing! If you’re not into that, you can also wear it with a black leather skirt, leather pants/leggings, or ir you’ve got corduroy pants in a different color they might look good with that.
