Need help. My hubby and I are attending a wedding in Japan (Kamakura, Kanawaga) two weeks from now, the ceremony will be at a Shinto temple at 11 AM on a Sunday. The reception will be held at a hotel after the ceremony. The bride is Japanese, the groom is Italian. Should I wear a short (cocktail dress) or a long one? Is it still pretty warm there at this time of the year or should I (could I) wear a coat? What about my guy, suit and tie, dark or light colors? Thanks!

It’s Fall weather at the moment here, so you’ll need to bring a jacket/coat of some sort. Maybe a scarf too, if you’re opting for a lighter coat. Don’t wear anything too colorful as to not upstage the bride, and your guy’s suit should be dark—maybe a white tie.
