Wedding guest fab or drab...

Personally if I saw someone at a wedding in a tight mini dress I would think it was a bit over the top, but you don’t have to go knee length and pastel. I don’t think length is an issue as long as there’s no bits hanging out and it’s not tight. Some people have colour restrictions but personally I think any colour other than black is fine (because of black being the common colour for funerals).

A printed summer dress would be a nice choice, it’s not too plain but it’s not club style.

Wear something somewhat modest, as you don’t want to be the center of attention: That’s the bride’s job!

But if it’s still summer, definitely a little summer dress would do just fun. Bring a light little cardigan to throw over your shoulders if necessary.

Nothing with too much cleavage or shows too much leg. Bring a little shrug to cover up in case it gets cold or you feel too exposed.
