I have been seeing a few mullet dresses of late (January Jones peacock dress at the emmy’s and Jessica Alba’s dress at a movie premiere) and I can honestly say that I am in LOVE with them! I like how their short in the front like a mini dress and then longer in the back to give the dress a more elegant feel. What are your opinions?

Personally I don’t like them. I think it’s the cut that turns me off. Other than that I can’t figure out why I don’t them.

I think it sometimes looks really gorgeous and elegant while still showing some leg but other times it looks really awkward. Depends on the dress

I’m with boredstephanie. It totally depends on the individual dress. I like the concept and sometimes it’s pulled off really well, but sometimes it falls flat.

I think it’s tacky! I got a dress, as such, just to cut it as a full mini because i liked the ruffles :DDD

Sometimes they can be done well, but like stated above, it really depends on the individual dress, and the person wearing it :)

They look good only with the right cuts. Some kinds of cuts just ruin the mullet effect and make them look ugly…

I personally don’t like this kinda pattern for a mullet dress:

I think it should flow down naturally and get longer towards the back gradually.

if they’re simple they’re cool but if there’s too much going on, it looks like a mess
