I just bought my first pair of Mary Janes in Grey and I'm wondering what I can pair with them in terms of colors and outfits. These shoes are also my first heels -ever- so I'm having a little trouble walking lol! Any advice ladies? :)

What sort of heels do these have?

As far as what to wear with mary janes- well, I would be remiss as a Lolita if I didn't recommend that particular street style!  Even if full on Lolita isn't to your taste, you may take a look at some classic lolita brands like Mary Magdalene, Juliette et Justine, innocent World to get inspiration.  Mary janes are 'the' shoe of choice in Lolita fashion so we know how to bring out the best in them.

Also, vintage 60's and 70's may look pretty cool with those shoes.

Perhaps... wear some sheer ankle high cream ruffle socks, light blue jean shorts overalls, an offwhite spaghetti strap tank with a sheer offwhite/cream swedish dot shirt that has puffy cap sleeves and a peterpan collar.  put your hair up into a cute bun right on top of your head (a look seen more often in Asian girly fashion) with a cute ribbon arround the base of it.  Some pearl drop earrings and a french manicure.  This all depends on the heels not being too high of course.

Yay congratulations! Grey is a perfect neutral colour, and really you can mix them with most any colour. Experiment!

Also, just because they're mary janes doesn't mean that you always have to wear cutsey outfits with them. One of my recent looks had me wearing a pair of brown mary jane heels and it was less of a cute style. Congrats on your first pair of heels. The great thing about grey is that it is a neutral so you could wear them with pretty much anything. I think they would look really good with white. They would also look very natural with black or burgundy.

Ooooo yeah!  If they're the right grey they could look great with some oxblood pants.

Pupuren is definitely right too; you aren't limited to cutesy at all.  I just tend to style them towards that aesthetic. ^_^

Congrats! Mary Janes are a perfect choice for your first pair of heels, especially in a versatile color like grey. You can wear them to dress up a babydoll dress, with a pair of skinny trousers, or even with tights. The options are endless! Although Mary Janes are known for their vintage-y vibe, I don't think you have to dress vintage in order to wear them. In fact, I think that they would be a fun and unexpected twist to any nice outfit.

Here are some Chictopia looks incorporating Mary Jane heels:

Mary Janes look really pretty with skater dresses and even shift dresses. Lady like is the key. While black and grey are the obvious choices you can also pair a pastel pink. And also don't be afraid to put on socks or stockings with your Mary Janes!

And since it is your first pair of heels, you might want to carry around an extra pair of flats for whenever you get tired and don't try to wear them for long hours at a strech. Keep sitting in between. And also you can purchase some foot comforters :)
