Snake prints

with leather, silk, or even with denim

Depends on what piece the print is on, whether it’s a top, shoes, bag, etc :P
I’d say to start with, keep the rest of your outfit relatively simple and classy, and let the print stand out…
I have a grey/blue/black snake print dress and I like to wear it with black and silver accents.
However I also like to mix prints and wear it with black polka dot tights! (if you’re feeling adventurous…)

I have some snakeskin heels, they’re adorable! I think snakeskin is great just like every other material – in moderation ;)

I’d say be bold & work it with different textures & animal prints! If you want to be slightly less conventional go for a snakeprint in a bold colour- you can find a lot of red snakeprint, or blue on the highstreet this season, so plenty of choice! If you don’t want to make too much a statement, I’d recommend easing yourself into it by wearing a light scarf in a red snakeprint (Topshop is great for this right now). Simple & put together if you wear it with a well cut, plain, black V-neck T-shirt, skinny jeans & a blazer (or leather jacket). Keep accessories minimal with one, thin friendship bracelet (for another very subtle injection of colour) & a few stacked, thin, silver bangles. If you wear this look with flats, turn up the bottom of your skinny jeans slightly to make it look a little more thought-out.

I am not a snake skin or animal print person…so if I wear them it is on a bangle bracelet, or earrings, maybe a scarf. there are some on www.shopicl.com
