I don’t know many sites except for http://www.unique-vintage.com/ but they’re somewhat frilly. To be honest check out what teen vogues site has I’ve seen some links for the not so frilly kind
posted about 1 year agoI just rented one from renttherunway.com since I didn’t want to pay full price for a really nice dress. Their dresses are not very frilly and have very good reviews.
posted about 1 year agoSeventeen ‘Prom’ magazine featured a edgy prom dresses in their issue featuring Shay Mitchell so you should check it out. I just put up outfit guides for those on my site Pretty Little Liars style :)
As for the sites:
1) edressme.com has a wide range of choices. I like the Aidan Mattox collection there.
2) Check out Celebrity Dresses they make celebrity inspired dresses of your choice :)
3) As Pandaroo suggests, you should check out renttherunway :)
Prom is all about looking your best and having fun! Try a one shoulder black dress, sandy colored tube dress, beaded sweetheart dress or Grecian strapless dress.

if you’re into simple/elegant types of dress, nordstrom does have cute gowns!
posted about 1 year agoI’m definitely in the same boat! I tend to just wear party dresses to my proms, which I know I can get away with because my schools have been small and where I am now has no dress code. If you can splurge (I can’t D:), Opening Ceremony has some great, non-prommy dresses that are really beautiful.

Welcome to read my new article about prom and graduation dress. I posted several dresses there too!
Good luck ^^

posted 9 months agostop in some local boutiques. la femme usually has some that arent big and frilly but also elegant and formal. they have a website. peaches.com has a ton of dresses to choose from also but definietly stop in your local boutique and see if they have any prom dresses. also jovani has beautiful dresses for prom. bridal stores usually have a section for prom and homecoming and they arent big or poofy.
