I’ve always told myself that I can’t rock a maxi skirt because I’m too short, but this year I really want to get one.

Do you guys think that maxi skirts aren’t for short people?
I’m 5’3’’ by the way.

i think that you definitely can; just find the right length for you and you should be just fine (:

I"m only an inch taller than you and I have quite a few maxi skirts and dresses! You can definitely rock one! If you need to get it hemmed then, do so. And don’t forget your heels! Although you can wear a maxi with flats. Just get it hemmed enough so it doesn’t drag. :)

As a fellow petite person, I’m 5’1", I can totally relate. I’m also kind of lazy about getting anything besides pants and bridesmaids dressed hemmed. Since petite departments are few and far between these days, and the brands that do offer petite tend to want you to order from their website rather than dedicating a section of the store to us, I try to find items that are supposed to be ankle length and they wind up being just right.
