Hey y’all!
So I posted the other day asking about navy blue and black, because I was trying to find navy blue pants. I’m interviewing for a Resident Assistant spot at my university, and I’m always worried about making a good impression! Welllllllllllll, finding nice dress pants in my size is nearly IMPOSSIBLE. Juniors don’t have the quality of pants I want, women’s pants don’t fit :( I have a feeling I’ll just have to suck it up and get them tailored! I just don’t have the time to get them done now. Well I found 2 pairs of nice dress pants, size 0 Petite… So here are a few outfit ideas I’m thinking.
Grey Pants and Lilly Top
Black(ish) Pants and Lilly Top
Black(ish) Pants and Green Top
Black Pencil Skirt and Lilly Top
Also, any shoe suggestions would be amazing :) I have open toed nude heels and black heels. That pretty much limits my winter ‘dressy’ shoes options that would work with these outfits. Thanks in advance!
posted 3 months agoI would wear the Lilly Top with the black pants and a blazer. I would wear black pumps with the outfit.
posted 3 months agoI like the lily top with the black pants. I agree with discofabulous, you should try a black blazer or black cardigan
posted 3 months agoI think the lily top with black pants goes well but I also like the lily top with the skirt. I’d pair it with a black cardigan and black pumps. Good luck with your interview!

Hi I am a stylist in London key thing here is to look smart. I write about interview outfits for CNN really don’t be casual If the job is important to you do smart. A dress is easy wear with a jacket or a s.uit Ask yourself what would a guy wear for this interview? and if the answer is a suit then you will not get the jo b if you are too casual.

posted 3 months agoFor the top I would stick with a more neutral color shirt because it appears more professional. I would opt for the green shirt with the pencil skirt for that feminine touch and black heels.

Hi there,
If the fit for pants is a headache for you, try fitted skirts instead. They can make an equally professional statement while showing off the feminine side of you. After all, females are known for their eye for details and meticulous nature which is an advantage for the position you’re applying for.
Here are a few suggestions on work skirts!
