I just started working at a Calvin Klein store. We’re allowed to accessorize with jewelry, (no colorful scarves), no shorts, no short skirts, and even our shoes have to be black (no sneakers, no thong flip-flops but dressy sandals). We can’t have any visual patterns on our tops or pants- the colors have to be solid. It’s so difficult to create a completely black outfit without making it look tacky. Are there any good examples/photographs of girls dressed in all chic black?

There’s been some advice going around in a similar post about all-black for work that is still active, so you might want to check it out. A lot of people suggested to use texture and different fabrics to create interest in your outfit, so you can see the pieces individually and you don’t look like a sea of plain black. Like, black blazer + black sequined top + black skinny jeans. Or black textured tights + black sweater dress.
