How would you wear it?

I was op shopping the other day with a friend and picked up this amazing pair of red and white striped short shorts. Only problem is, I can’t really figure out how to wear them.

I was thinking a loose white v neck, or a black singlet or something, but if you guys have a more creative idea please let me know!

Oh, and what shoes should I wear with them!?

Layer it up with anything, as long as the shorts still stand out :)
And as for shoes anything that can emphasize your legs (since it is shorty shorts). Maybe pumps or flats?

Are they horizontal or vertical stripes? How thick are the stripes?

Verticle, and super thin. Like from a distance the shorts would look totally red.

with a loose white tee, black vest and sneakers for a casual look! Or you could play up the nautical vibe with a navy cardigan or blazer. I can even see it with a ruffled cream blouse, or you could wear a light denim jacket on top.
