Basically I have literally lived in my adorable jacket, now its fading away, if I put it on the shoulder area has flacky areas. I am huge fan of leather. Hope you all can help. Thank you in advance :)

You could try studding it, it will hide the flaky areas and will definitely look super nice and a lot different, it will freshen it up ^^

if you don’t want to wear it as a jacket, you could turn it into a bag like this girl did. any crafty relatives who could help you out?

Turn it into a clutch. There’s plenty of tutorials online which teach you how to do that :)
