So, I bought this adorable nude dress from H&M. It’s very dainty, and has a simple ruffled top. It’s so pretty but I’m not sure what I should pair with it! What’s a good color shoe to pair with it? As well as jewelry? I was thinkin silver for jewelry, but I’m still not sure.

Help! Gotta wear this next weekend for an event.

It’s pretty formal. I like the idea of a charcoal cardigan with it. I’m have to wear heels. I liked the girl with a gold necklace. Still a bit lost though. :/

I think gold would look better than silver with the nude.

metallics are good also browns, You could do black, but really you would want the dress to be the focal point and wear very classy sophisticated jewelry and you could also have fun with make up and wear a bold lips

Gold, bronze or wooden jewellery looks great with nude coloured clothes. Or if you want a bit of brighter colour, then coral would probably be a good choice

I think a nude dress is a great opportunity to show off your shoes and accessories.

I agree with Contemporarity. Making the dress a focal point might make your look boring and adding accesories with same hues won’t help coz they will surely fade in the background. Pair it something bold and that stands out. Panten leather pumps (black).. even the idea of the jacket is really good…. I

I think annamannequin idea of black shoes and gold accessories is GREAT! I also however like jennifer lopez’s VERY formal & simple approach pairing nude pumps with dainty accessories & nude clutch seen HERE but if your going to with the black shoes, consider trying some black boots or booties to give it funkier non traditional approach… Good luck mommas :)

Personally, I believe a nude dress should be used as a canvas. Completely avoid anything the same tone, such as gold or brown jewelry. Those will simply blend into the dress – when you really need something that stands out!

Some things I would suggest would be:
My top pick for shoes would be: Berry Shoes
If you need something a little more conservative for your event go with these: black shoes
(they’re black, but they still make an unexpected statement with the sparkles)

Jewelry is really based on personal style and the style of the dress. If you go with shoes like the magenta/berry then you can still have fun on top with jewelry but keep it a little more understated – I wouldn’t use too much of the pink color, do your nails in that shade!
If you go with the black shoes you have a ton of options for jewelry! Play with a certain color, don’t mix a lot. I would pick one color then do black for the rest of the jewelry.

Here are some things I found that might work – base it off your style and what works specifically with the dress!
pink necklace
black ring
black bracelet
black ring

I hope this helped!

A lot of mine were listed from Target, though I was just using them for visual reference! Go to your favorite stores and I’m sure you’ll find similar things!

I agree with all of you. I ended up going with there taupe pumps. They went well last minute with some gold jewelry but, I wish I had used flashier accessories. Like KelseyKennedy said, it does make a nice canvas. :) Thanks girls! :)

I believe when it comes to nude dresses, it’s the best canvas to accessorize, accessorize, accessorize!

Classy simple pieces such as a cuff or silver bracelet will work very well for a polished, refined look.

Or if you will like to glam up, try girly bangles or a statement ring

Hope this helps! <3
