You should major in fashion design and minor in fashion merchandising/retailing or fashion management.posted 8 months ago
You don’t even need a fancy major to be a stylist.
Get your self on www.modelmayhem.com
and get your self a youtube channel and a blog,
start by styling your friends with things you already have, then use model mayhem to find photographers near you and ask around local designers / shops in your area if you can borrow some of there clothes for a shoot and they will receive some images back.
Nearly all of them will say yes, because it’s free press!
Team up with other creatives, make up artists, models, videographers etc
start to build up your portfolio and your network of creatives and soon you’ll have a name for yourself in the industry! :)
Good luck! xposted 8 months ago
