Well, the more leg you can manage to show, the longer they should appear to be. Not sure about what to do with a pudgey tummy though. I have a bit of a pudge leftover from winter hibernation, but my high waisted shorts actually keep my tummy in, so maybe that’ll work for you? Really, I’d just go out and try some on and see how they work with your body type.posted almost 6 years ago
I wish I could rock the high waist trend, but I’ve got such a short torso I feel like I’d pretty much have nothing between my bosoms and my waistband!posted almost 6 years ago

Oh my gosh! I have the same problem. I look a bit like a nerd when I wear them… I have a cute pair, but I’m only 5’1 so it’s not that cute. Girls with long torsos look absolutely gorgeous in them! I wish I could grow 4 inches! Haha! :)posted almost 6 years ago
Maybe look for a pair with a slightly less high waist if you are short-torso’d and worried, I have to shop around alot cos I’m quite tall and a lot of high waisted things don’t actually make it up to my waist. I’d say try a shop with a specialised petit section, so that they are more tailored for you!
And if you’re worried about having a bit of belly try some made from a thicker material? Or a different cut, I have some ‘paper bag’ style denim ones that would easily hide anything you’re worried about as they are a really flattering style.
Or some control pants :)posted almost 6 years ago
