I suggest buying a bag in tan/brown. They’re neutral and go with everything :)

I have a couple of vintage Coach bags in two different shades of brown and I use them more than any other bag. The leather is gorgeous and sophisticated but also works with everything. Plus, old Coach bags are really sturdy! I would recommend buying one of two, maybe one in brown and one in black.

I agree with the other responses, something in the tan/brown family. Lighter is probably your best option as it will blend better with your beiges and pinks.

Your height does play into what handbags will work best for you. Don’t worry about color as much as size. Make sure the bag is not too big, otherwise it swallow you up. Keep in proportionate to your overall frame. This may sound confusing, but you will definitely know in your gut if a bag is too big for you.

I’m not sure what your price range is but here is a bag that would work well as a neutral everyday and from the picture it seems like a good size for you.

I totally agree with the other girls too. Although I love my bright bags and black bags, my go to everyday bag is brown or tan. It’s a very easy color to coordinate and even if it doesn’t quite match to what you’re wearing, it does’t really draw attention to itself. I’ve found very cute cross body ones at F21 and UO always has great faux leather ones. :)

A taupe, cognac or light brown bag are the perfect neutral colors for any outfit.
