I bought this dress from Urban Outfitters for my school’s semi-formal.
Just like the picture, it is very plain and simple, and I’m having trouble accessorizing it.
Should I wear a thick black belt with it? What kind of shoes should I wear with it also?

A belt’s not necessary. If you really want a belt, maybe a skinny one would be more balanced, with black shoes.
Depending on how formal you wanna go, you could wear any heels or pumps with it; perhaps clash a colour with the dress, like bright blue.

Don’t wear a belt. The dress is beautiful. I would NOT wear black pumps. I would wear silver sandals with it. If you want to be crazy you could wear orange or pink shoes with it.
