Ok so I used to be pretty thin, and therefore all my work clothes are for a thin person. I have gained some weight though I guess, because I tried on my clothes for a new job and.. theyre all pretty small and make my stomach look kinda dumb. I can’t afford new work clothes, so I was just going to try to make these work..
Do they look okay? I’m trying a few styles to see if different shapes accomodate my belly better. So here’s a photo dump haha
Trying high waisted look:

Please dont just tell me to suck in my stomach, I try that and only the top of it goes in (which is already small and not an issue. its the big jiggle fest underneath that i want to hide, and it doesnt go in.. see? relaxed http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg561/ellie_mae21/20120920_141134_zpseaea53ac.jpg sucking in http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg561/ellie_mae21/20120920_141155_zps43f0f155.jpg Anyway.. Im sorry this is so long, but thank you so much for your time! I’m just wondering if these things for work look okay, or what I can do to make them better without spending money? I cant afford to buy new things right now. Or is it not really even noticeable and I’m just being crazy? Haha please just be honest, i dont care if it is mean or not. I just dont know how to dress my new body type! Thank you so much.

The pencil skirt looks cute! If you’re feeling self-conscious about it, wear a jacket with and it will look perfect! As for the dress pants, I would skip those. They’re way too small. The jeans look fine. The black skirt should be pulled up higher, if possible. That’s what’s nice about skirts is they can be pulled up to the smallest part of your waist!

I totally agree with Catie.

I have a big tummy but a little waist so I always wear skirts around my waist. That way, they skim over my stomach.

The pencil skirt and jacket both look absolutely lovely!

1) I suggest wearing a long blazer over the first outfit, it’ll conceal your stomach slightly.
2) As for the beige top, I suggest ruching/folding the top near your stomach instead of letting it rest smoothly because that highlights your stomach.
3) Instead of buying new clothes, I think you should invest in shape wear to tuck your tummy in.
4) Why don’t you try wearing shirts to work instead? They’re formal and should look good with your skirt and jeans. Or maybe a loose blouse.

I think the blazer works quite well, it draws the eye upwards, so it distracts attention from the tummy area. Maybe you can use that strategy to redirect attention with rushed tops, jackets and a colorful blouse. I agree with the Catie too that the pencil skirt looks cute too!

with the blazer you could wear a black shirt underneath.. black is always sliming but the blazer def works! wear a blazer over the first outfit also then you won’t be so self conscious. the dress pants look fine but as the other girl above said, just ruffled the shirt over your stomach and it is totally fine.

I LIKED the FIRST VIEW with a skirt I the LAST with jackets, and as your jeans. DO NOT FORGET WHAT to CARRY the THING ON the WAIST PROBABLY ALREADY it is IMPOSSIBLE WHAT not to press on the CHILD. if you have free blouses or dresses they to you will approach.

The mistake I think you do with these outfits, is that the tops are too tight. Try some baby-doll or larger tops.

I think the skirt looks great on you and with the blaxzer it would look even better, especially with that cute black and white top.
