Hey,

Let me start by saying hello fellow chictopians :) and thanks for the advice that I’ve picked up form so many of you guys here!!! So much awesome style.
I am looking for a black blazer that I can wear to work and an evening out with the girls. Now I’m in Toronto, Canada and have seen some pretty decent blazers at Jacob, Zara and online at EXPRESS. I don’t really want the boyfriend cut, but rather the cropped style (think back to the style most people wore before the boyfriend blazer). I do want one that has some lasting power, so I don’t mind spending a bit more… Any thoughts or recommendations?

Well, if you really don’t mind paying All Saints has some of the most beautiful innovative tailoring I’ve seen. Everything I’ve bought from them has been just above and beyond in quality and fit. They have several shortish styles, not sure if they are exactly cropped.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Okay maybe I shouldn’t have said money isn’t an issue, because these are a bit pricier than I was expecting. Ideally I want to stay away from H&M, but do you know how Zara, Jacob (Canadian company) or Banana Republic Blazers fit?
