I’d love to be able to pull off pencil skirts, skirts in general, and dresses but I don’t know how to make the right choice without looking too.. awkward?
I am bowlegged;

I’ve tried pencil skirts on and they just weren’t doing me any justice. I looked weird x) So how could I wear things that show off my legs without it looking weird..?
posted 7 months agoHonestly, I kinda of like the look. I think it makes legs look more shapely! Maybe try some pencil skirts that have straighter lines, as opposed to the ones that taper at the bottom. Also, with pencil skirts, length plays a bigger role than you would think. An inch one way or the other can make a huge difference, so shop around a lot!
posted 7 months agoYou can always wear maxi skirts and dresses if you feel that bad in short ones. I think that a pencil skirt that covers your knees is good though. Or the 50’s skirts! The ones that go around with every moment like Marilyn Monroe’s classic white dress-they usually cover the knees! Your problem doesn’t mean you can’t be fashionable.
posted 7 months agoI’m actually a huge fan of bowlegs (hope that doesn’t sound wrong). I think they’re cute and edgy especially on the runway. Emily Browning is bowlegged and she looks fabulous in anything. It’s really more of how you carry yourself. Here are some pictures of her wearing dresses and skirts:
Hope those helped!
