No need to wear a ball gown or anything! Midi skirts are always chic and sophisticated and you can never go wrong with an LBD.

I would probably say wear something ’casual formal". At least wear a dress or skirt and no shorts or jeans. You should aim to dress a little elegant and sophisticated, at least well put together!
