Equestrian boots are really hot right now.
For a jacket I would either get a leather jacket or a long coat that is around knee length that you could wear over a knit dress and leggings or a cute top and skinny jeans.

I think a classic trench coat is great for winter, I don’t think you can go wrong with one as they never go out of style.
As for shoes, personally I would go for any flat or low heeled boot (apart from uggs and the like). Something mid calf or knee high would be most practical while also looking stylish.

I think that scrunchy/knee-high boots with skinny heels (maybe one or two inches) would look great with a trench coat style (black) or a pea coat. Tuck in a pair of jeans and carry a handbag/purse that just stands out, even though the colour might be ridiculous. As for accessories, I’d probably go with those triangular neck wraps that are in style right now if you’re into that. If not, go for the long and skinny scarves and try to test for styles that might work for you. If not, just go for classic yarn…not like, grandma yarn, like, nice yarn?

Wellies, Swims galoshes, or combat boots you don’t mind mussing up.

1. Leather boots, high, low or no heel. Tuck leggings into or put jeans over it, leather boots are timeless.
2. A warm, short and long coat in a basic color such as gray or black. I know it can be expensive, but it’s one of THE best investments you can make to guarantee that you do not freeze your butt off. Plus, they never go out of style.
3. Long, huge knitted scarf. There is no better way to keeping warm than being smothered in a huge ball of soft yarn.
4. An awesome boy who loves to sip cocoa and cuddle all night with you. Wouldn’t you agree that that’s a must have for the winter season? ;)
Check out Urban Outfitters for all the ones I’ve mentioned.

Depending where you live, if you tend to get a lot of snow, go for tall boots, if not, go for shorter ones.
Jackets, they’re usually something that you should be able to throw onto any outfit and they’ll look fine. Unless you’re planning on buying multiple jackets, i suggest buying a black one.

Agreed about the huge knitted scarf.
A good coat. Leather gloves. A hat. And… hmmm… what else. A good pair of flat boots..

i had this good as idea to only buy neutral coloured clothes for winter because its so annoying trying to get lots of layers on anddd getting them to match.
thick tights are greattt and coloured gloves and scarfes = yummmmmmmmmm .

I’ll be wearing:
- leather jackets
- chunky knits
- embellishments
- huge scarfs
- classic mac
- black, neutral tones, jewel tones.
- heeled brogues or military heeled boots
- leggings, thick tights, chunky socks.

Heya!
Well, I don’t know about other people but I just can’t survive winter without a hood on my coat (preferably with some nice fake-fur on the rim) – it keeps your ears war and looks super cute if you let down your hair when you’ve pulled it up! I also prefer dark, muted colour like dark gray and black since, let’s face it, there’ll be a lot of dirt on outerwear.
As for the boots I can only recommend leather boots (no suede! They won’t survive the snow). Just choose a colour which fits most of your pants and make sure there’s enough room to comfortably fit your jeans in, but not too loose since you might wanna wear certain pants over them as well.
If you’ve found the right pair make sure to spray them with protection spray and they’ll survive the following winters as well :D
