who’s terrible idea was it to bring this back? most people look like they belong to a special ed class wearing that. if you’re not rumi (fashiontoast) chances are that this is not the thing for you. help me help you… maybe i’m alone with this sentiment. either way – what you think? |
i think if someone knows that they can rock it and is confident rocking it, then it looks great!! i’m actually a fan of it, everything that comes around goes around eventually again, right? |
Terrible? I think awesome. It holds my stupid bangs back. |
there’s a proper way to wear “skinny headbands”...it shouldn’t make your head/hair look awkward or unproportional….. |
i used the one a friend has once and its great to (of course) hold the bangs back, I just can“t buy one in my town I think.. |
I love them though I don’t own any. As far as I’ve seen, they look a bit hippie chic unless it’s a chain, which looks more refined. They also look lovely braided in brown leather and are a quick and easy DIY project. |

i have no bad feelings toward skinny head bands… sometimes certain trends just rub individuals the wrong way… like i hate anything army print… but it seems others dont agree with me because i always see people in public wearing army print and they are clearly not in the army.. its almost as though they think its a classic thing that doesnt go out of style and they are wrong if you ask me… sorry that got a bit off topic, im just really passionate about not liking army print… |

i like them on some people but i hate hair muffin top! |
the hair muffin top isnt so bad. its like a a kinda cute way to channel a flower child. I love a skinny double headband like the kind Bumble and bumble. makes that are bra-strap-ish. I’m always, always game for a scarf in the hair. |
I think it depends on who is wearing it. But the thing is, it’s too common! |
Skinny headbands are a weird thing to hate on! If I wore a thick headband with my short hair, my head would look even more awkward and disproportional than if I wore a thin one. |
personally i love the skinny headbands |
“most people look like they belong to a special ed class wearing that” |
^ agreed. |
I think it’s all about the hair that goes with them. |
whaaat, what’s wrong with them. |
I think they look good on certain people and with certain hairstyles. |
I pretty much think that everyone likes them. whats wrong with tthem anywayyy?? |
youre special ed. |
What’s wrong with them? I think they look perfectly fine if worn the right way. |
I hate Ashlee Simpson and seeing her wear that makes the look dead. Hipster kids have worn it way before and now it just looks dated. |
If you’re hair is pulled back nicely it looks really nice, but if you’re hair is a ratty mess well it doesn’t look all that good. |
i loooove skinny hair bands, it looks nice, and i have a big head so big hairbands dont really suit me ! small ones ad a little Bam to it my hair. lol |
I quite like them actually. If you “use them the right way” they can look very classic and pretty! |
I also like them, even when people have the hair mushroom going on. |
