sorry i’ve been away, chictopia land. it wasn’t for lack of love, just a general breakdown of identity and frustration with the search for my personal style. i’m back, though, and i’m feeling revitalized and ready to be a reliable blogger once more. i missed you all dearly!

i love the idea of mixing prints, but i’m only brave enough to do it with the classics – for the most part, the only not-solid fabrics in my closet are florals, stripes, animal prints and polka dots. this is just a test shot with my new camera; i’m feeling a more extensive, editorial vibe for future outfit posts (the brick wall background doesn’t do it for me anymore….)

been working on this – my little vintage e-bay store. it has taken quite a bit more time and effort than i thought it would, haha!

this dress is one of the things that will be up for sale. i will be listing things through tonight and all day tomorrow, so definitely keep an eye on it….should be fully stocked before you know it! auctions are starting at $5//$10, so nothing too nutty. =]

finally broke down to the whole “wolf tee” craze, but only because i liked the lavender color – and i cut it into a v-neck tank. i’ve also been wanting a big petticoat/tutu FOREVERRRR, but this urban outfitters skirt i got off of ebay is a pretty good substitute, i think!

1.] reallyyyy working on bringing my wardrobe together in some kind of cohesive manner, but i’m not giving up these leopard print boots (unless i find a better pair. ashish for topshop? i wish.)

2.] i am obsessing over polka dots. every size, every color, every article of clothing.

ohkay so this definitely doesn’t qualify as a “fashion photograph/blog photo”, but it’s one of the few pics i’ve got of me & my boyfriend at my co-worker’s wedding last night. it was in downtown omaha, at the joslyn art museum. COMPLETELY stunning.

& my boyfriend wants you all to know he dressed himself. (mostly.)
