Paris embraces the root, LA shuns it.

Just got back from Paris two days ago and the residual effects of the jet lag have seemingly dissipated…

Honestly, last time I was in Paris for work I didn’t miss NY nearly as much as this time…

So glad to be back!

Picked up a little little something in Paris… Black Chanel nailpolish. I have waited so, so long…
With the economy rapidly dying I thought it best to be prudent while away, but it was SO hard. I am really really proud of myself for showing restraint, actually.

Silk Vest is Rodebjer, it’s long enough to be a dress and super pretty and cape-like. I want it, but I have to wait until it comes out in SS09. Sigh.

Life is hard.

I am obsessed with the FW07 Balmain boots that Erin bragged about being gifted in WWWD.

And by obsessed, I mean willing to not eat for a month to afford them. I can’t stop having dreams about them, and nothing compares! I saw the Chloe SS09’s but their not really “IT”

I need IT.

I am going to Paris in a week, and am hoping I can find them there, but they are from so long ago, I am not sure I can…

Does anyone have any clues, hints, suggestions?

I am in LOVE… the Balmain’s and I need to be together. I know they feels the same way.

I am wearing like, 8 items of clothing today.

Most all of them I have worn before. This blog is making me dig deep into my creativity to come up with something not already blogged to death.

The skirt I wore two days ago (and thanks Chictopians, you all loved it!)

I paired it with a thin button down irregularly hemmed halter, left open and belted.

Later I removed the belt and threw on the body chains— a look I liked more, actually— but alas, I didn’t have dear Shelley to alternately take my photo and call me gross….

Here I am at Market (day 2 of 3)

Market is an exquisite kind of pain. It’s ostensibly a fashion outlet, yet there are so many retina-searing outfits you honestly question what it is that you do.

For example, I saw a pink plaid jumper and a pair of silver pants made from paper. Kill me now.

I try to bring a bit of cool to the long weekend, without being uncomfortable.

Here I am wearing three necklaces, an AA tee, Richard Chai green cardi, Dolce blazer and Alice tiered skirt.

I am writing this at the end of the three day fest. I had a bit of wine at the end, which is soothing my frazzled nerves.

Three weeks without a weekend off… wonder how much longer I can go….
