I’m constantly reminded that I don’t need heels. But with a below the knee skirt length, I cannot imagine wearing anything else that won’t make me look too dowdy. Strappy platforms are my fail-proof answer to almost all outfits, wouldn’t you agree?

I’m not usually a fan of these chiffon type dresses with floral prints since I don’t do twee nor can I carry them off well enough. But the asymmetrical tiered hem called out to me and when paired with the right shoes (in this case my new shoes from Pedder Red) and accessories takes it away from being too high tea in an English rose garden, which is what twee spells to me. I bought the dress from Korea and I have a black one which I’m selling at Hating Mondays. This grey one was initially for sale too but I decided to keep it for myself in the end.
