Yet another picture taken in my blue bedroom. I love this dress. I found it in a secondhand shop for $9 and it was new.
I wore it (with tights and a jacket) to supper out with family and was still absolutely freezing but I didn’t really care. We went out to a larger city which actually isn’t that big (less than 100 000 people but is the closest place with a mall and more than 10 000+ people. It’s an hour away and the only place around to shop, which means I don’t go very often. Unfortunately, on our way home from dinner, there was a crash a while in front of us. Because I live in the “Great White North” (meaning it is snowy and very cold) the roads are often bad and there was a head on collasion between two pickups. Everyone survived, thankfully, but due to delays, the usual hour trip took two and a half hours and I was very tired by the time I got home. And that was my (kinda) exciting evening.

The title of this post is taken from a song called The Atheist Christmas Carol by Vienna Teng. I love all her music but this song to me says what Christmas and the holidays are really about.

I love this dress but it is so hard to wear where I live, so I wore it for a tea party with my sister. sigh small towns. I paired it with the red hat I bough my sister for her birthday and some nude heels from my aunt. I hope everyone likes my first outfit on Chictopia.
