I’m going to a Halloween party tonight that isn’t fancy dress! Obviously, this is a complete travesty, so I shall be wearing my orange and black bleached dress in protest.

If you’d told me a year ago that I’d consider sequinned, dropped crotch trousers a wardrobe staple, I’d probably have called you insane, then feverishly checked ELLE to make sure I was right.

But, as it turns out, they are. These trousers are fantastic for days when I want to look as though I’ve made an effort when actually, I just rolled out of bed and into the first outfit I found.

These boots have to be my most amazing find ever. They’re from Primark, real suede and only £30 – I bought two pairs!

Unfortunately, they’re so comfortable (and warm – great for the rubbish weather) that I CANNOT TAKE THEM OFF. I’ve been seen around my neighbourhood in them so many times that I think I’m garnering a reputation as a lady of the night!

I absolutely adore these shoes, but have actually only worn them twice due to their ridiculous height. Despite the fact that I once wore seven inch heels for 72 hours straight (nightmare trip to New York, long story), I can’t manage these shoes for more than a few hours – they usually sit on a table in my bedroom, displayed like a piece of art!

The aforementioned lipstick… I’m in love!

Another lazy outfit, you can tell by the hat. In other news, I just got these shoes and am deliriously happy with them; I nearly died when Aldo sold out, so stumbling across these online by Bronx absolutely made my day – cue desperate waiting for the postman! (Plus they’re insanely comfortable…)

I also love love love the lipstick I’m wearing – I’d been looking for a really bright red, so when I saw Sophie from Luxenoir wearing the perfect shade I asked her what it was (Russian Red by MAC) and bought myself one!
