I love that Andy Warhol quote! OK, I didn’t actually wear this out today. I’ll admit it, I was playing dress up. I haven’t put a picture up here in forever so I thought I’d document some of my outfits. Today was gorgeous but cold. I can’t wait for warm weather!
Anyways, the top is actually a mini dress. I’ve been wanting a bustier top for months now and haven’t been able to find one, so I thought I’d wear it like this until I do!

I wore this combination—with tights—on the day after Christmas. I forgot to take an actual picture (with the camera I got for Christmas, yay!) so I just put it out this way. Laziness at its best.

So, tonight the Associate Publisher of Vogue is speaking (in 45 minutes, actually) at my school, so I’m going with a friend of mine. I didn’t even know she (she being Deborah Cavanagh) was coming until this morning, so I’m pretty excited. I wanted to get a little dressed up but not too much so I hope this works. These are amazing shoes. You can’t really see them but they’re like mustard seed colored with straps at the ankle and they are unbelievably comfortable. I even got them on sale, like way discounted, which makes them even better. I adore them.
Off to the lecture!

So, before college and even freshman year I thought that finals and midterms were the only weeks that were super busy. This quarter has shown me that once you get to a certain point in your life, you are never not busy. And it sucks. Finals are next week and I’m actually excited for them because then I’ll only have one exam a day instead of a couple and a speech and everything else… I got next to no sleep last night because of this huge Econ exam I had today (I don’t understand why a journalism major has to take econ, but oh well). After I woke up I realized that I had to give a speech today that I totally forgot about. Oops. Thankfully my best speeches are those that are written an hour before class because it came out really well. I even think I did okay on my Econ test, so fingers crossed.
Anyway, I bought this dress for Christmas and I love wearing it. One thing you can’t see in the picture is that it has these great pockets. I love dresses with pockets! I look slightly mentally handicapped in this photo, but oh well, haha.

I’m apart of Backdrop Magazine, which is a student publication at my school. We release a new issue every quarter and our release party was a few weeks ago. I bought that top over winter break for like $3 and afterwards hated it but I brought it to school with me and I think it’s really fun actually. I’m also wearing my zippered leggings and I love them! I wear them a little too much. The party was so much fun and the magazine looks amazing!

I subscribe to a few (ok, too many) magazines and in all of the of the “few” magazines I’ve received this month Burberry’s new ads have been either on the back page or just in the magazine. I LOVE them. The clothes are amazing, obviously, and the colors that they use in the ads and just everything about them I love. I figured I would put up a few pictures because they actually make me happy and hopefully they’ll have the same effect on you.
By the way, I finally got a camera but I have no connector cord. Boo. At some point soon I will post an actual picture though, haha. One day…
