Purple Banana Republic Jacket

posted Jul 30, 2011 by

So this is my latest favourite piece of clothing. believe it or not it cost more then my prom dress! it was a whopping 240$!!!!!!. Luckily I got it brand new with tags and everything for 60$ of a swap and shop site. It is very comfortable with a very soft silk inline. There are no seems showing at all. and it is thick and waterproof for the most part. The only thing I do not like is the face that it runs a bit too big. For a size small it fits like a medium so unfortunately I am going to have to get it taken in. The colour on this jacket is a radiant purple. The buttons are purple with gold trim.
One thing I didn't like about this jacket is the belt. It seemed a bit too long and could wrap around me twice, unless that was part of the style, but I don't think so because there would have been extra belt holes.

Banana Republic Trench

I thrifted this for like 12 dollars. It's really well-made (mostly real silk), and I've had it for almost two years. The cut is uber flattering, and it's very wearable.

I recently wore my boyfriends jacket and it happened to be banana republic and it was so comfortable, it was a pretty beige color, and it was light weight.
