okay, so i’m kind of in love with this jacket, even though i know it is totally insane. what do you ladies think? got the blouse on the same thrifitng trip. i love the color and the draping, and its definitely one of my faves to wear with my fake leather short shorts. and heels.

i wore this super casual outfit on one of the last days of my australia to spend a day in the park with friends. obviously this is my favorite t-shirt. its been in about three different posts. it is vintage from an old boyfriend and i took it in on the sides and arms for a better fit. these are the sportsgirls shorts again. love ’em.

I love this dress. It is so comfy and flattering, and it can easily be dressed up or down. I’ve worn it to weddings with heels and jewelry, and it worked just as well with casual vintage pieces for a day of shopping and walking around on a hot summer day.

this is what i wore on the first night in melbourne. as you can see, my tan hadn’t totally kicked in yet. i love this blouse—another thrift store find—and have worn it with several different shoe/denim/skirt combinations. the print looks painted on the silk, and the shoulder pads give it shape. vi is wearing an amazing and very old vintage blouse from her mother, a thrifted blazer, and high-waisted wide leg vintage Levi’s.

This is one of my favorite outfits. I found the top while thrifting in Chicago. I love the cut-outs down the arm and the obnoxious 80’s to the maxxx pattern. The shorts were cheap from Forevs, but they fit well. Now that I’m back in cold weather, I’ll be wearing them with tights and a fur jacket.

That night we had some drinks on a friend’s back patio before heading to a dance night. It was sooo much fun! I want to go back!

I just returned from visiting my B.F.F. in Australia, where we camped on the beach, then shopped, ate, and drank for two weeks straight it Melbourne. It was seriously the best trip ever. I got these shorts on sale at Sportsgirl, which is not a store we have here in the states. The shopping in Melbourne was pretty good, though the prices were a little higher than what I’m used to, especially for vintage stuff.
