Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it to Chictopia10 this past weekend and I’m really bummed I had to miss out. This past week we had an insane amount of snow grace us with its presence. A lot of my facebook friends have deemed the blizzard “Snowmaggedon.” I love me some snow, but the plows in my neighborhood are not very good, so there’s been a lot of circling the apartment looking for street parking, giving up and spending time with family instead. And a lot of rehearsals for my middle school production of “Joseph” have been canceled so we’re going to have to work over-time in an effort to get prepped for opening night. It’s a month away, but we still have a LOT to do.

Well, mother nature, you’ve proved your point. You’re powerful. We get it. Can we make sure that the snow falling today doesn’t exceed the predicted 1-3"? Thanks.

Decided to trim my bangs again… we’ll see how long they last. I think I’m seriously due for a REAL haircut. I’ve been getting annoyed with my long hair, and since I always put it up and it wouldn’t matter what it looks like down I chopped off a few inches. Maybe I should seek professional help.

Apologies for the blurry photo… it kind of reflects how the night made me feel the next day if you get what I mean wink wink nudge nudge.

Story time: So I had plans to go out with my roomie, her boyfriend & one of our other friends last night because it was the first time in a while said roomie didn’t have to work, so we were going to make a night out of it. My friend Danielle came over after I got off work and immediately looked me up & down from head to toe and (in so many words) said “HALE TO THE NAW GURL.” I was wearing a plaid top, jeans & motorcycle boots. She was wearing a leopard-print tank top, glam jewelry, skinny jeans & knee high boots. “My aunt asked me if I was going to ‘work’ tonight and she didn’t mean at Madewell. If I look like a hooker, you cannot be wearing plaid, okay?” So I glammed up a little bit. Wore a dark shade of lipstick & felt like Wednesday Addams, but all in all it made for a good night.
