i don’t normally wear accessories, but a pashmina scarf was absolutely necessary today — so cold! and it’s so warm and cozy, that i didn’t even have to wear a jacket or sweater or anything. i stole it from my mom, btw. she got it on a trip to a little island in mexico. it’s handmade, and i love it! i hadn’t worn a scarf in ages, but now i think i’ll be wearing many this winter :)

i hate souvenir tees. i hate peace signs (not that i hate peace, mind you!). and i absolutely hate hearts and writing (together or separately) on any item of clothing. my sister got me this t-shirt from alaska a few weeks back, and it had all three things i absolutely hate! buuut, i woke up convinced that any item of clothing can be decently worn with a tad of imagination. this is what i came up with. not too chic, but not too shabby, or so i say…
